This is a Thanksgiving favorite! My mother-in-law gave me the recipe, and it is requested at all Thanksgiving dinners.
Ingredients:
3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs, well-beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup milk
Topping Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
2-1/2 Tbl melted butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
- Combine casserole ingredients
- Spoon into a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Combine topping ingredients.
- Spoon the topping over the casserole.
- Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
